From the North Bay (Golden Gate Bridge) Take 101 South across the Golden Gate Bridge. Stay on 101 South along Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue, turn right. At O’Farrell Street, turn left. Stay in the left lane and follow O’Farrell to Mason (eight blocks). The Downtown Center Garage is on the corner, your closest lot to the theatre. Walk up Mason one block to Geary, turn left and the Curran Theatre is a block and a half up at 445 Geary.

From the East Bay (Bay Bridge) Stay to the left and take the 5th Street/101 North exit. At the exit ramp, veer left onto Harrison and go one block to 6th Street, turn right. Proceed to Market Street where 6th becomes Taylor Continue up Taylor to O’Farrell, turn right. Cross into the left lane before Mason Street (next block). This is the Downtown Center Garage at O’Farrell and Mason, the closest lot to the theatre. Walk up Mason one block to Geary, turn left and the Curran Theatre is a block and a half up at 445 Geary.

From the South Bay Take 101 North or 280 North. If on 101 North, take the 280 North exit. Exit at 6th Street and take 6th to Market Street where it becomes Taylor. Continue up Taylor to O’Farrell, turn right. Cross into the left lane before Mason Street (next block). This is the Downtown Center Garage at O’Farrell and Mason, the closest lot to the theatre. Walk up Mason one block to Geary, turn left and the Curran Theatre is a block and a half up at 445 Geary.

From BART or MUNI Exit at the Powell Street station and come up at the Cable Car turnaround (Powell Street). Walk up Powell three blocks to Geary, turn left. The Curran Theatre is located a block and a half up the street at 445 Geary between Mason and Taylor.

At Golden Gate Avenue, turn left and follow it to the corner of Taylor and Market. Stay in the far left lane to turn onto Taylor (otherwise you’ll go South of Market). The theatre is on the corner of Golden Gate and Taylor.

From the East Bay (Bay Bridge) Stay to the left and take the 5th Street/101 North exit. At the exit ramp, veer left onto Harrison and go west one block to 6th Street, turn right. Stay on 6th Street for several blocks to Market Street where it becomes Taylor. The theatre is where Taylor and Golden Gate Avenue meet 6th and Market.

From the South Bay Take 101 North or 280 North. If on 101 North, take the 280 North exit. Exit at 6th Street and take 6th to Market Street, where it becomes Taylor. The theatre is where Taylor and Golden Gate Avenue meet 6th and Market.

From BART or MUNI Exit at the Powell Street station and come up at the Cable Car turnaround (Powell Street). Walk west on Market Street (away from the Ferry Building) two blocks to 6th, Taylor and Market. The Golden Gate Theatre is at the junction of Golden Gate and Taylor at 6th and Market.

*A six week pilot program limiting east bound private vehicle traffic on Market Street began September 29. Private vehicles on eastbound Market Street are required to turn right at 8th and 6th Streets. The program is effective all day, seven days a week; pedestrians, cyclists, public transit vehicles, taxis, emergency vehicles and delivery vehicles will still have full access to Market Street. The entrance to the theatre is on Market, east of Hyde.

Stay to the left, cross Market Street and turn left onto McAllister. Go one block and turn left onto Hyde.Look for parking in this area behind the theatre or across Market on 8th Street. From the South Bay Take 101 North towards I80 (Bay Bridge). Stay to the right and take the 7th Street exit, turn left onto 7th. Stay to the left, cross Market Street and turn left onto McAllister. Go one block and turn left onto Hyde Street. Look for parking in this area behind the theatre or across Market on 8th Street. The entrance to the theatre is on Market Street, east of Hyde.

From BART or MUNI Get off at the Civic Center station. Come up at the Hyde/Market Street exit (the west end of the station). The lobby of the Orpheum is on Market where the stairway comes up, the corner of Hyde & Market.
